In April 2026, I exhibited a series of “bootleg cats” inspired by the neighbourhood cats I grew up with, titled “I don’t own cats but I grew up with them.” The three handcrafted pieces were part of TOKONOMA’s all-cats group show, “TOXOPLASMOSIS.”

This experience inspired me to extend the project beyond the gallery space. Through Bootleg Pets, I now hand-sculpt and assemble one-of-one collectibles individually in my art style, allowing pet owners to own a handcrafted art object inspired by their companions in their everyday moments.
